Individuals arrested in Marj – Bekaa

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

After information being provided concerning the activity of individuals involved in smuggling operations across the Lebanese – Syrian borders, an intelligence patrol raided today in Marj – Bekaa several apartments rented by Syrians and arrested individuals: Ahmad Jamil el Jarad, Bachar Ared el Khalaf, Ismail Antar el Ahmad and Ahmad Katoush el Ahmad for committing smuggling operations and Saiid Hassan Sido for entering the Lebanese territories using a fake ID. The mentioned patrol confiscated cellphones and various documents.

The arrested individuals were turned in along with confiscated items and investigations were carried out.
