The Armed Forces Commander visited the Central Military Hospital – Badaro

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun visited today the Military Healthcare Center in Badaro where he inaugurated the call center in the medical services surveillance department that monitors the patient check ins and check outs to civil hospitals.

Afterwards, General Aoun toured the internal illnesses branch that was developed and equipped with state of the art medical equipment, then toured the dialysis section where he visited the patients. This section is considered a major part of the hospital after being equipped with state of the art machines.

Later on, General Aoun inaugurated the new Orthopedics section where he addressed the soldiers, saying: “ Healthcare is a daily operation for soldiers in active duty and in retirement. It is a major part in the combat service that is just as important as combat missions for soldiers at the front lines.”

Moreover, General Aoun confirmed that no harm shall affect the health of soldiers and their families and stated that the Army Command is taking the suitable measures in order to lower the expenses. However, these reductions will not affect the budget of Healthcare in any way.

General Aoun also stated that the Military Healthcare is in constant development, thanks to the individuals in charge and thanks to the donations offered by citizens and LAF supporters who are a source of pride for the LAF.
