The Army Headquarters declares the sad demise of retired Brigadier General Michel Youssef

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation declares the sad demise of retired Brigadier General Michel Youssef who passed away on 1/2/2020 and the following excerpts offer a summary of his biography:

• Born on 1/7/1954 in Hazmieh - Baabda
• Enlisted in the Army on 6/12/1978 and rose through the ranks and became Brigadier General starting 25/6/2010.
• Received several medals and the commendation of the LAF Commander several times.
• Followed several training courses in Lebanon and abroad.
• Married with four children.

The body of the deceased will be transported from Saydet el-Maounat hospital – Byblos on 2/2/2020 at 9:00 to the hall of Mar Richa church in Mimnih – Akkar where the funeral will take place on the same day at 13:00 in the mentioned church.

Condolences can be paid before and after the funeral in Mar Richa church and on 3/2/2020 starting 11:00 till 18:00 in the hall of el-Wardieh church – Zouk Mosbeh. Condolences can also be paid on 4/2/2020 starting 11:00 until 17:00 in the hall of el-Sayde church – Chikka.
