Foreign and Arab humanitarian assistance continue to arrive

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Humanitarian assistance offered by foreign and Arab countries continues to arrive to Beirut. 3 airplanes landed at Rafik Hariri International airport carrying medical and food aid between 20/8/2020 and 21/8/2020 at noon.

Furthermore, a ship provided by WFP carrying flour berthed in the port of Beirut.

List of the countries sending aid in alphabetical order:

• Poland: an airplane carrying medical aid.
• Russia: an airplane carrying medical aid for the World Health Organization.
• Sultanate of Oman: 2 airplanes carrying food aid.
