The Armed Forces Commander General visited Fouad Chehab Academy for Staff and Command in Rihaniyeh

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun visited Fouad Chehab Academy for Staff and Command in Rihaniyeh where he toured its sections and examined the high education courses for the sessions of Staff and Battalion Commander.

Following the tour, General Joseph Aoun assisted at the Technical training hall through an electronic screen  a training drill conducted by officers of the 31st Staff course. The drill simulated an attack launched by army units against terrorist groups deployed in the barren hills of Ersal with the aim of eradicating these groups.

After the drill, General Aoun praised the performance of the officers and the execution of the drill with a high level of professionalism. He commended in this frame, the efforts exerted by the Academy to further promote the level of higher education in the Army while training commanding officers who possess the needed command qualities and combat skills.

He stressed the importance of correlating between the process of qualitative armament and the process of specialized training in the army in a way that guarantees the best results in upcoming battles and therefore the ability to resolve any battle as fast as possible with minimum casualties.
