The Armed Forces Commander inspected the headquarters of the military police in Rihaniye

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun inspected this morning the headquarters of the military police in Rihaniye where he toured the divisions and was informed of its operational, training and administrative activities.

General Aoun congratulated the officers and soldiers on the occasion of the Holidays and commended their efforts exerted in preserving security, fighting crime and implementing Law and order. General Aoun also stressed the importance of the role of the military police in preserving the values of the army and the principles of its message, particularly military conduct in a way to contribute to strengthen its immunity and ties of trust between the military and civil societies. Moreover, General Aoun called upon the troops to intensify the security missions during the Holidays in order to assure citizens, preserve public safety and swift intervention in order to arrest shooters and turn them in to the relevant authorities.
