Army Arrests Two Individuals and Seizes Drugs, Weapons, and a Stolen Vehicle

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Following a series of surveillance and security monitoring operations conducted by the Intelligence Directorate, the Directorate raided the residences of wanted individuals in several areas and arrested two persons as follows:
• The citizen (AA.H.) in Zahle for membership in a theft gang and for carrying out multiple residential burglaries. 
• The Syrian (M.AA.) for failing to comply with patrol personnel during a raid in the town of Hour Taala – Baalbek. During the operation, a large quantity of narcotics, weapons, and military ammunition was seized. 
A stolen vehicle was also seized in Sannine – Metn area.
The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities. An investigation has been initiated with the two arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining wanted individuals.
