The Army Carries out Raid Operations in Search of Wanted Individuals and Arrests a Number of Them in the areas of Wadi Ata – Arsal and Al Qasr – Hermel, and Al Tabbaneh–Tripoli

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

In the context of pursuing wanted individuals and those disrupting security, Army units carried out raid operations in the areas of Wadi Ata – Arsal and Al Qasr – Hermel, arresting the citizen (AA.AA.) for possessing weapons and military ammunition. A large quantity of these items was seized, in addition to narcotics and military equipment.

Additionally, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the citizen (AA.H.) in Al Tabbaneh-Tripoli for shooting at a citizen with a military weapon on 5 January 2026, resulting in the latter’s death, due to prior disputes.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
