The Army Chief of Staff Major General P.S.C Hatem Mallak visited military units deployed in Mount Lebanon, and particularly the barrack of Sarba

The Lebanese Army Chief of Staff Major General P.S.C Hatem Mallak visited military units deployed in Mount Lebanon, and particularly the barrack of Sarba where he inspected the ongoing work at the Military Healthcare, the security office and the Military Police unit stationed in the mentioned post. Major General Mallak also visited the 1st Armored Vehicles Regiment, Jounieh Naval Base and the Navy Commandos Regiment where he inspected the activities performed in these units and the training programs. Meetings were held during these visits with the officers and troops to whom Major General Mallak conveyed the instructions of the LAF Commander General Jean Kahwagi.

The Chief of Staff praised the efforts invested by the troops and their commitment to develop their units and perform their duties with enthusiasm, professionalism and discipline while stressing the importance of the joint work and cooperation between combat units with the logistic and medical corps in addition to intensifying the qualitative training, conducting joint drills between the different military units with the aim of preserving complete readiness and performing defensive and security missions with a high level of efficiency. Major General P.S.C Mallak noted that the Military Institution has become now more than ever an impregnable force in the face of challenges thanks to the support of the Lebanese people. He added that the great achievements were accomplished in terms of defending the southern and eastern border from the threat of Israeli enemy and terrorism, the thing that shielded Lebanon from the fires of regional wars and conflicts.
Major General P.S.C Mallak concluded his comments by calling upon the soldiers to be ready at all times to defend the country side by side in addition to ensuring the necessary security environment for the upcoming elections and to assist in the process of development and economic advancement in the country.
