The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation declares the sad demise of retired Brigadier General Joseph Sfeir who passed away on 21/10/2020.

The following information present a brief summary of his life and military career:
* Born on 12/3/1937 in Qlaiaat – Keserwan.
* Enlisted in the Army on 1/10/1956 and rose through the ranks and reached the rank of Brigadier General starting 1/1/1991.
* Received several medals and decorations as well as commendations and congratulations of the LAF Commander.
* Followed several educational and training courses in Lebanon and abroad.
* Married with 3 children.

The body of the deceased will be transported on 23/10/2020 from Notre Dame de Liban Hospital, the funeral will take place on the same day at 11:00 in his town Saint George Monastery - Qlaiaat - Keserwan.
