The Army Commander-in-Chief inspects several units deployed in the South and the army’s engineering works on the Qasmiyeh Bridge

The Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, inspected the South Litani Sector Command at Benoit Barakat Barracks in Tyre, the Fifth Infantry Brigade in the Shwakir area of Tyre, and the army’s engineering works on the Qasmiyeh Bridge.
General Haykal met with officers and soldiers, praising their resilience and sacrifices in the face of difficulties, as well as their belief in their mission, despite suspicious incitement campaigns targeting the institution.
He also stressed that the ongoing criminal attacks by the Israeli occupation, the latest being the large-scale and systematic attacks carried out yesterday, aim to undermine Lebanon’s stability and stir strife among its people.
