The army denies allegations spreading of social media

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A number of social media platforms spread news saying that a number of military personnel are affected with the Coronavirus and that they were quarantined following medical exams.

The Army Command denies these allegations altogether and confirms that no Coronavirus cases are reported within the military institution and that the Army Command is taking all necessary precautionary measures.

The Army Command calls upon all media outlets to seek precision in handling any information related to the military institution and to resort to the Army sources to check the validity of any news before publishing them.
