The Army has arrested several individuals involved in an altercation that included gunfire, resulting in the injury of three people, one of whom is in critical condition, in Aisha Bakkar - Beirut

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On June 4, 2026, an altercation occurred in Aisha Bakkar - Beirut as a result of prior disputes. The incident involved an exchange of gunfire that left three people injured, one of whom is in critical condition.

Army patrols immediately arrived at the scene, contained the disturbance, and arrested a number of those involved. They also seized a quantity of light and medium weapons, along with military-grade ammunition.

An investigation has been initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining individuals involved.
