The Army Headquarters Announces The Demise Of former Minister and MP Retired Major General P.S.C Edgard Maalouf

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation announces the demise of former Minister and MP Retired Major General P.S.C Edgard Maalouf who passed away abroad on 28/12/2018. In the following is a summary of his life:

-    Born on 21/03/1934 in Furn el Chebbak - Baabda.
-    Enrolled in the Army on 01/10/1953 then rose to Major General from 01/01/1988.
-    Granted several medals and the commendation of the Armed Forces Commander several times.
-    Attended several courses inside and outside Lebanon
-    Married with 2 children.

The deceased will be transferred on 10/01/2019 at 09.30 from the central military hospital to the Archdiocese of Melkite Greek – Mathaf where the funeral will be held on the same date at 12.00, then the body will be transferred at 14.00 to the Lady of Niyah Chruch – Kfaraakab and the burial will take place in the family cemetery.
Condolences may be offered before and after the funeral and on 11 and 12/01/2019 from 11.00 until 18.00 in the Archdiocese of Melkite Greek – Mathaf ‎ and on 13/01/2019 from 11.00 until 18.00 in the Lady of Niyah Chruch – Kfaraakab ‎.
