The Army Headquarters Announces The Demise Of Retired Major General Ibrahim Abbas

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation announces the demise of Retired Major General Ibrahim Abbas who passed away on 28/05/2018. In the following is a summary of his life:
    
-    Born on 05/02/1941 in Aaytaroun – Bint Jbeil.
-    Enrolled in the Army on 03/10/1960 then rose to Lieutenant from 13/9/1963 and was gradually promoted to the rank of Major General starting with 14/10/1998.
-    Granted several medals and the commendation of the Armed Forces Commander several times.
-    Attended several courses inside and outside Lebanon
-    Married with 3 children.

The deceased will be transferred on 30/05/2018 at 10.00 from the Central military hospital to Rawdat el Chahidayn - Ghobeiri where the funeral will be held on the same date at 11.00.
Condolences may be offered before and after the funeral on 31/05/2018 in Aaytaroun – Bint Jbeil and on 01 and 02/06/2018 from 14.00 till 19.00 ‎‎in Dunes – Verdun – First Floor – Main hall.
