The Army transferred 23 Syrians to the judiciary and relevant authorities and arrested 5 others in el-Qaa – el-Hermel

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The LAF intelligence Directorate transferred 8 Syrian nationals to the judiciary authorities for their affiliation to terrorist organizations in Syria. The Intelligence Directorate transferred 2 other Syrian nationals to the ISF General Directorate for the crime of smuggling goods through the joint Lebanese – Syrian border. 13 other Syrian nationals were transferred to the General Security for the offense of illegal roaming in Lebanese territories.

Additionally, a patrol of the mentioned directorate arrested 5 Syrian nationals for their affiliation to terrorist organizations and for their involvement in terrorist acts including the crime of launching rockets targeting Lebanese regions at previous dates.

Investigation is in process under the supervision of the judiciary authorities.
