Arrest of 2 individuals in Sabra – El Horch and Naameh

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 04/04/2024, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the individual (AA.G.) in Sabra – El Horch for his involvement in more than 400 operations of robbery and theft using force, terrorizing citizens, and drug abuse. He had previously been arrested for drug abuse.
Another patrol arrested in Naameh the citizen named (M.M.) for his involvement in several clashes and for shooting on previous dates, the latest of which was on 18/03/2024, resulting in the injury of one person. He was also arrested for drug abuse and possession, and he has a criminal record. His house was previously raided in Dawhat Al Hoss, where military equipment and six hand grenades were seized.
The confiscated items were handed over, and the investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
