Arrest of 2 Syrians in Al Maamoura - Dahieh Janoubieh for promoting and abusing drugs

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 12/02/2024, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in Al Maamoura - Dahieh Janoubieh the Syrians (M.F.) and (M.J.) for promoting and abusing drugs and for entering illegally into Lebanese territory.
A large and diverse amount of drugs, along with a sum of money were seized in their possession.
The confiscated items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
