Arrest of 6 Individuals as Part of Security Measures Across Various Lebanese Regions

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
The military institution continues to implement its security measures to pursue wanted individuals, drug dealers, and those disrupting public security across various Lebanese regions. In this context, Army units arrested six citizens as follows:
•    Raiding the residences of wanted individuals in Qab Elias – Zahle, arresting the citizen (A.AA.) for opening fire, and seizing a quantity of military ammunition.
•    Arresting the citizen (KH.M.) on Riyad Al Solh – Tripoli for opening fire, and seizing a military pistol and ammunition in his possession.
•    Arresting the citizens (M.A.), (M.M.A.), and (A.A.) at Chadra checkpoint – Akkar for possessing a quantity of drugs.
•    Arresting the citizen (M.L.) at the Kfarhouna checkpoint – Jezzine for possessing a pistol.
The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
