Arrest of Abdul Majid Ali Amoun and the Syrian Mohammad Faysal el-Waw.

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A Lebanese Army Force arrested in Ayn el-Shaab – Ersal Abdul Majid Ali Amoun who is wanted for committing offenses at previous dates. These offenses include trafficking weapons, monitoring the army units’ movement and interacting with terrorist militants. The Army force also arrested the Syrian Mohammad Faysal el-Waw for his affiliation to the terrorist organization “ISIS” and for his participation in fighting against the army. A van and a motorcycle both lacking legal papers were confiscated during the arrest.
The arrested perpetrators and the confiscated vehicles were turned in to the relevant judiciary authorities in order to take the necessary measures.
