Arrest of individuals who kidnapped the Syrian national Fateh Jomaa el-Katish

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

An Intelligence Directorate patrol arrested the Lebanese nationals (A.A) and (M.K) as well as the brothers (M.I), (F.I) and (A.I) in the region of Arkoub – Jurd el-Donnieh. The culprits were arrested for the crime of kidnapping the Syrian national Fateh Jomaa el-Katish in the region of Abi Samra – Tripoli on 7 September and stealing a sum of money after claiming that they belong to a security agency.

The Intelligence patrol managed to free the kidnapped during the raid and investigation is underway under the supervision of the relevant judicial authorities.
