The arrest of several suspects involved in the shooting at a LAF patrol.

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On June 4, 2025, a LAF patrol came under gunfire while carrying out a mission on the Iaat - Tal Al Abiad road in Baalbek. The patrol members returned fire without any injuries reported. Following this, a LAF unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residences of several suspects involved in the shooting and arrested 7 individuals. They seized weapons, military ammunition, and a quantity of drugs.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
