Arrest of Syrians in Mansourieh - Mount Lebanon for Involvement in a Fraud and Scam Gang

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 1/3/2024, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the Syrians (H.K.) and (A.H.) in Mansourieh -Mount Lebanon for their involvement, along with others, in a fraud and scam gang. They were also charged with trafficking counterfeit gold liras and wandering without proper identification papers. A quantity of these counterfeit liras was found in their possession.

The seized items were handed over and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
