Arrest of two individuals for armed robbery and using drugs

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 17/9/2020, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the Palestinian (T.A) on the Khaldeh – Damour highway, for armed robbery, impersonating security personnel, and for wrecking on "vegetable stalls" and shops in Khaldeh and Burj el Brajneh camp. He also used drugs and shot on more than one occasion, and a military pistol was seized in his possession. On 18/9/2020, another patrol of the aforementioned directorate arrested (N.S) for hiding a motorcycle belonging to the first detainee who was using it in robbery, and who was also using drugs and shooting.

An investigation was initiated with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
