Arrest of two individuals following the kidnapping that took place on 4/1/2019 in the neighborhood of Sainte Therese – Hadath

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Following the armed kidnapping that took place on 4/1/2019 in the neighborhood of Sainte Therese – Hadath, an Intelligence Directorate force raided the residences of three suspects and arrested them. One of the suspects was released for insufficient evidence while the two other suspects were kept in custody. One of the remaining suspects is wanted for the crime of opening fire in the air and for the possession of weapons and ammunition while the other suspect is wanted for participating in the mentioned kidnapping.

Investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the relevant judiciary authorities in order to arrest the remaining culprits.
