Arresting Mohammad Badr el Din el Kronbi and turning him in to the relevant authorities

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As a result of the thorough monitoring and follow up operations performed by the Intelligence Directorate in the LAF to the troops involved in terrorist acts and vehicles that exploded in several Lebanese regions, these forces managed to arrest Mohammad Badr el Din el Kronbi who confessed to belonging to the terrorist ISIS organization and participating in Ersal battle against the LAF as well as transferring suicide bombers, buying, wiring and transferring vehicles to be exploded in different Lebanese regions. Moreover, Kronbi participated in launching several rockets towards the mentioned regions, leading to the martyrdom of several civilians and soldiers. Kronbi also was involved in trafficking and using narcotics.

The arrested individual was turned in to the relevant authorities.
