Beginning of implementation of activities to support mine victims and their families

In the context of the activities to support mine victims and their families, launched by the Lebanese Center for Mine Action on 3/12/2022 on the occasion of the International Day for Persons with Special Needs, a graduation ceremony was held in Saeed Al-Khatib barracks – Hammana, for a course on beekeeping and its products, taken by a number of mine-affected people in Lebanon with the support of the authorities Korean.

The graduation was attended by Brigadier General P.S.C. Jihad Al-Bashalani head of the Center, the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea, Mr. Park IL, and representatives of the InternationalTrust Fund for Enhancing Human Security - Government of Slovenia (ITF), along with a number of attendees.

At the end of the course, beehives, equipment, and materials were presented to the trainees, as a donation from the Korean authorities.
