A ceremony honoring disabled and injured soldiers in active duty and in retirement at the NCOs Club - Fiyadiye

On the occasion of the Army Day, the Army Command held this morning at the NCOs Club – Fiyadiye a ceremony honoring disabled and injured soldiers in active duty and in retirement at the NCOs Club – Fiyadiye. The ceremony was attended by Brigadier General P.S.C Maher Abou Chaar, representing the Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun and several officers and guests.

Brigadier General Abou Chaar delivered a speech in which he stated: “it is Lebanon’s destiny to face challenges and difficulties. It is the LAF’s destiny to be the guardian and shield of the nation in the face of difficulties. It is our message for the sake of which numerous martyrs have fallen, among the elite of officers, NCOs and soldiers. You have been living martyrs, carrying the will of martyrdom with all its noble goals. It is a motivating strength that every soldiers holds in his heart.”
