A citizen arrested in Al Jdaydeh – Metn for possessing and promoting drugs

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 04/07/2022, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in Al Jdaydeh – Metn the citizen (AA.A.) while riding a motorcycle without legal papers, for possessing and promoting drugs.

An amount of drugs was seized in his residence, including 394 cocaine tablets and cocaine base, 55 Hashish sachets, 4 marijuana sachets, 765 Captagon pills, cocaine sachets, narcotics, a sharp instrument and a sum of money.

The arrestee and the seized items were turned in to the competent judicial authorities.
