Citizen arrested in Al-Shawagir– Hermel

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 24/07/2021, on the count of a clash that occurred in Al-Shawagir-Hermel between (J.A.) and (M.F), spelling into a fire exchange in which a number of young men participated.
An army force supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided the residence of the citizen (N.A), arrested him and seized a military pistol and its ammunition inside the residence, and 2 cars, a Range Rover and a Jeep Cherokee, a pistol, 5 military rifles, in addition to 1500 rounds, and a 49 magazines and 6 rifles were seized.
The seized items were handed over and the investigation was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities and follow-up is underway to arrest those involved in the clash.
