Closure Ceremony of the seventh session in International Humanitarian Law for college students at Fouad Chehab Academy for Command and Staff

Under the patronage of the LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun represented by Brigadier General P.S.C Hasan Jouni and the participation of the Law Faculty Dean in the Lebanese University Dr. Kamil Habib as well as army officers and the Deans of Law and Political Science faculties in Private Universities, Fouad Chehab Academy for Command and Staff hosted a ceremony where degrees were distributed to a number of Lebanese University students and private university students who completed a training session in International Humanitarian Law. Participation in this session, organized by the Directorate of International Humanitarian Law in cooperation with Diaconia organization in the frame of highlighting Lebanon’s commitment to implement International Humanitarian Law. The session included an intensive program that involved conferences addressing the principles of International Humanitarian Law, the rules of military operations and the protection of cultural property in addition to performing a practical study of some cases with the aim of improving and clarifying knowledge particularly in military conflicts.
