The crimes of the individuals killed in Hamoudiye operation

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Following previous statements related to the raid in Hamoudiye- Britel on 23/07/2018, the army command clarifies that the eight were killed during the implementation of the operation because they refused to surrender and because they shot using their individual and middle-ranged weapons despite multiple warnings. 

After the necessary investigation and interrogations under the supervision of the relevant authorities, we mention the crimes committed by each of them:

 

Ali Zeid Ismail: had over 3,000 warrants out for his arrest for offenses related to drugs, auto theft, fraud, trafficking forged currency, theft and weapons trafficking, as well as for shooting citizens and killing a soldier during an attempt to arrest him.

 

Mohammad Zeid Ismail: Ali’s brother had been responsible for organizing Ismail’s criminal activities and had 416 warrants out for his arrest for offenses related to drugs, weapons and combat ammunition, fraud, forgery, killing, threatening soldiers and auto theft.

 

Ahmad Ali Ismail: had also been wanted for offenses related to drug trafficking and shooting at security officials.

 

Yehya Ahmad Ismail: who had 12 warrants for his arrest for drug trafficking , theft and possession of weapons and combat ammunition.

 

Paul Jean Naaman: who is close to the deceased Ali Zeid Ismail and who used to visit him regularly and worked within his group, was involved in using drugs.

 

Zeinab Mohammad Ismail: Ali's mother. She was present with an armed group, whose members opened fire at the raiding unit.

 

Syrian Hussein Ali Matar: Ismail's personal bodyguard and driver. He had 365 warrants out for his arrest for drug trafficking, car theft and launching a rocket missile towards the unit.

 

 Syrian Rakan Hasan Shemali: had a criminal past and was wanted for vandalism.
