Distributing medals and financial awards at the Special Forces School

Under the patronage of the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun, the distribution ceremony of medals and financial awards to winners in categories: “Strongest Ranger”, “Warrior” and “Best Special Forces Squad”, was held at the Special Forces School – Hamat. The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the Special Forces School, Brigadier General P.S.C Fadi Makhoul representing the Armed Forces Commander and several LAF officers, security bureaus and guests.

Brigadier General Makhoul delivered a speech on the occasion in which he stated: “I call upon you to work with ultimate dedication in order to face external and internal challenges, armed with our right in defending our land and people and protecting the dignity and sovereignty of our country. Be at the height of the responsibility laid upon you and know that physical preparation in military life hold an ultimate importance and is considered a main issue in military structure. Physical activities enable soldiers to overcome the difficulties and physical challenges of military life. Therefore, the Army Command gives special attention to these competitions as they encourage sports activities as well as work as a coherent team in order to attain the aspired goals.”
