Exceptional Measures for religious occasions

On the occasion of Palm Sunday, Good Friday and Easter (Eastern and Western) which is celebrated by Christian religions, and related ceremonies in different Lebanese regions, army units began taking exceptional security measures around celebration locations, shopping centers and churches. These measures consisted of setting up checkpoints, and dispatching vehicle and foot patrols as well as setting surveillance spots in order to facilitate the daily commuting of citizens and to preserve their peace and security while participating in their ritual religious ceremonies.
