Five citizens arrested in various areas as part of security measures

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
As part of the security measures carried out by the military institution, Army units arrested 4 individuals as follows:
•    Citizens (M.N.) and (M.B.) were arrested in Hosh Sayed Ali – Hermel. The first is wanted for charges of shooting and is suspected of being involved in firing shells from Lebanon towards Syria on April 24, 2025. The second was arrested in possession of an unlicensed military firearm.
•    Citizen (KH.A.) and Palestinian (M.A.) were arrested at the Deir Amar checkpoint – North, for forming a car theft gang.
A patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested citizen (AA.K.) in Zakron – Koura, for shooting. He was found in possession of weapons and ammunition.
The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
