FOREIGN AND ARAB HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE CONTINUE TO ARRIVE

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Assistance offered by foreign and Arab states continue to arrive to Beirut. 11 airplanes carrying food and medical aid landed at Rafic Hariri International Airport between 14/8/2020 and 15/8/2020 at noon.

The countries sending assistance are listed in alphabetical order:
•    The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan: food and medical aid.
•    Australia: medical aid.
•    Sri Lanka: food aid.
•    Switzerland: medical aid.
•    Iraq: food aid.
•    Kuwait: 3 airplanes carrying food and medical aid.
•    Arab Republic of Egypt: 3 airplanes carrying food and medical aid.
