The funeral of the martyr Corporal Anthony Joseph Takla

LAF and the people of Andkit - Akkar, in the presence of a crowd of citizens and soldiers, joined the funeral of the martyr Corporal Anthony Takla, who was martyred on the day before yesterday during a raid on the house of one of the wanted terrorists in Jabal el-Baddawi - el-Minya.

Prayers were held in Saint Maroun Church-Andkit.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Zeina Aker and General Joseph Aoun were represented by Colonel Gaby Katour who delivered a speech on the occasion where he praised the honor of the martyr and his sacrifices: "The fateful challenges that our country faces, which include all sectors and affect various aspects of life, make the army more attached to our national principles, there is no turning back, and there is no place for hesitation, for LAF is the primary guarantor of security and stability, and the meeting point for the Lebanese of all affiliations. Our enemies await a chance to harm us and to attack our civil peace, and the soldiers will remain on the lookout to thwart their destructive plans."
