Funeral of martyr corporal Ayman Mahdi el-Mohammad

The town of el-Rama – Wadi Khaled in Akkar organized the funeral of martyr corporal Ayman Mahdi el-Mohammad in the presence of a crowd of civilians and military personnel. Corporal el-Mohammad martyred yesterday in the town of el-Hermel after being shot in an ambush. The rendering of military funeral honors took place at the gates of el-Hermel governmental hospital where the martyr was decorated with the medals of the wounded, the medal of war and the medal of military appreciation – Bronze degree. A memorial service took place afterwards in the martyr’s final resting place. Brigadier General P.S.C. Walid El-Sayed represented her Excellency Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Ms. Zeina Akar as well as the LAF Commander General Joseph Aounand delivered a speech on the occasion. Brigadier General P.S.C. Walid El-Sayed praised the professionalism and sacrifices of the martyr. “It is regretful that we are meeting to bid farewell to our comrade Corporal Ayman Mahdi el-Mohammad who was killed in a treacherous attack. His demise will leave a deep wound in our hearts and in the hearts of his family, friends and the villagers in his town. However, he will keep on living in our conscience particularly after he dedicated his life to military life and gave most of his time to the service of his country and to protect his people” Brigadier General P.S.C. Walid El-Sayed added
