Funeral Of Martyr Recruit Ibrahim Mohammad Saleh

The Army Command and the citizens of Roueissat Jdeideh - Metn organized the funeral of Martyr Recruit Ibrahim Mohammad Saleh who fell yesterday during a shooting in Tripoli.

The funeral began with the honoring ceremony of the martyr in front of the Central Military hospital - Badaro where a group from the military police and the army band offered the required salutes and honors and the martyr received the Medal of War, the Medal of the wounded and the Medal of Military Appreciation Bronze Degree. Following the ceremony, the ritual prayers were performed on his pure body with the presence of citizens and comrades in Roueissat. Brigadier General Marwan Fadel who represented the Minister of National Defense Mr. Elias Bou Saab and the LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun delivered a speech on the occasion in which he praised the qualities of the martyr and his devotion in performing his military duty. It included: “the LAF command keeps offering precious sacrifices in defending Lebanon. Its aim is to continue to face terrorism until the end and it believes that it will achieve definite victory over this evil. We will not let the blood of the martyrs go to waste and we will spare no way in preserving the security and stability of the citizens.”
