The funeral of the martyred Corporal Mohamad Khaled al-Nachar in the town of Aytat – Akar

The Army Command and the people of Aytat – Akkar organized the funeral of the martyred Corporal Mohamad Khaled al-Nachar who was martyred on 27/9/2020 after a terrorist group attacks an army post in the northern area of Araman – al Minya.
The funeral was attended by a crowd of citizens and soldiers, and ceremony of honoring took place at the governmental hospital – Tripoli, where a unit of Military Police and Army Band performed the ritual ceremonials. The martyr was granted the medals of war, the wounded and military appreciation of Bronze degree. Following the ceremonies, the martyr was transported to the mentioned village.
Colonel Salim Hasn, representing Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense Mrs. Zeina Akar and LAF Commander in chief General Joseph Aoun, delivered a speech in which he praised the heroism of the martyr and his dedication in performing his military duty. The Colonel added in his speech: “LAF is engaged in a war against terrorists to foil their devious plans and dismantle their cells, while confronting the Israeli aggression, and handling security and stability in the interior and along the country's borders. LAF will continue to handle the responsibility no matter how grave it is, believing that hope for Lebanon can only live through the power of its army, and the unity of its people in the face of challenges”.
