Graduation of the 40th Staff Course and the 2nd English Staff Course at Fouad Chehab Command and Staff College

A graduation ceremony was held this morning at the Fouad Chehab Command and Staff College in Rihaniyeh for the 40th Staff Course, which included officers from the Lebanese Army, security agencies, and officers from sister Arab countries, as well as the 2nd Staff Course conducted in English.

The ceremony was headed by the Chief of Staff Major General Hassan Audi, representing the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief General Rodolph Haykal, and was attended by representatives of the security agencies, national universities, diplomatic figures, a number of military attachés, as well as officers and the graduates’ families.

After certificates were presented to the graduates, the Chief of Staff delivered a speech in which he stated:

“Our gathering today at this graduation ceremony, despite the challenges facing the country, reflects determination and a beacon of hope. This occasion represents a significant milestone that demonstrates the continuity of leadership education within the Armed Forces and the tireless efforts devoted to preparing staff officers capable of planning and making decisions under the pressure of operational challenges in the field.”

He concluded by congratulating the graduates and commending the efforts of the college personnel and instructor staff. He also expressed his appreciation to the universities, particularly the Lebanese University, for their academic cooperation with the Army aimed at enhancing the educational and cultural standards of its personnel.

Speeches were also delivered on the occasion by the Valedictorian of the Staff Course, the Valedictorian of the Arab officer graduate, the Valedictorian of the foreign officer graduate, and the Commandant of the College.
