Graduation Ceremony Of the 23rd course of NCO Cadets

The Training Academy – Barrack of Mohammad Makki – Baalbeck hosted this morning the graduation ceremony of the 23rd course of NCO cadets who successfully completed the designated training period. The ceremony was headed by the LAF Chief of Staff Major General P.S.C Hatem Mallak who represented the LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun. Public, religious and social figures of the region attended the ceremony in addition to a large number of Army officers, Army units’ commanders, officers from different security agencies and the parents of the graduates.

The ceremony began with the national anthem and the anthem of the martyrs. Following these rituals, the graduates presented the NCO’s school banner to the second year cadets and the Chief of Staff named the Course after martyr Adjutant Ibrahim Zahraman. The certificates were presented to the graduates who took the oath.

Major General P.S.C Mallak delivered a speech on the occasion in which he congratulated the graduates and their parents and stressed the importance of NCOs in the LAF, as it forms the pillar of the military body. His speech included: “know that an NCO is a vital element and main pillar in the establishment of armies and that the unit can only perform its duties with the good performance of its NCOs. Therefore, be loyal to the soul of martyr Adjutant Ibrahim Zahraman and to the souls of noble martyrs. Keep in mind that the responsibility of defending the nation in the face of terrorist and Israeli enemies is entrusted to you.”

A military parade took place at the end of the ceremony in which all the graduates have participated.
