Graduation ceremony and distribution of degrees at the Navy Commandos Headquarters in Amchit

The Headquarters of the Navy Commandos Regiment at the barrack of Miled el-Naddaf in Amchit hosted the graduation ceremony of a Commandos course named after martyr commando Sergeant Ousama el-Rifaï in addition to the graduation of several other courses in diving and its techniques and the honoring of NCOs who retired on pension. The ceremony was attended by Regiment Commander Brigadier General P.S.C Mohammad el-Moustapha who represented Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun, American Special Forces Liaison officers in addition to officers from the Army and the security forces as well as civilian guests and the relatives of the graduates.
A wreath of flowers was placed at the memorial of the Regiment’s martyrs and the graduates recited their vows before receiving their degrees. The representative of the Armed Forces Commander delivered a speech on the occasion where he highlighted the importance of these courses in boosting the combat capabilities of the troops. “Your enthusiasm in following qualitative training courses and your insistence on achieving the highest results is a source of pride in your military career. The competent soldier is committed to his vow and continuously seeks to develop himself to perform his tasks in the best possible ways. Be confident that Lebanon is in dire need for courageous and loyal soldiers such as yourselves and therefore I urge you to be up to the expectations and I prompt you to put your loyalty to the Army and the country above any other loyalty” Brigadier General P.S.C Mohammad el-Moustapha added.
