GRADUATION CEREMONY AND DISTRIBUTION OF DIPLOMAS IN HANOUSH SHOOTING FIELD
A graduation ceremony was held in Hanoush shooting field for troops from the Lebanese Army, the General Directorate of Public Security and the General Directorate of State Security, after they successfully attended various courses: ranger, raiding, sniper formation, landing instructor, and physical formation of the first and second degree fighter. Brigadier General P.S.C. Fadi Makhoul representing the Lebanese Army Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun attended, along with a number of officers, an American and British training team, and a number of invitees.
General Makhoul delivered a speech on the occasion, in which he said: " Amid the dangers and challenges that the country is going through, and the daunting tasks carried out by our units in order to preserve Lebanon's unity, sovereignty and independence, your graduation comes as an additional confirmation of the strength of the army and its firm decision to confront all the enemies of Lebanon. So be proud that you are the sons of the institution of honor, sacrifice and loyalty, and that you have raised your fighting level to advanced stages, and work to invest what you have obtained, and always strive to accumulate knowledge and not to rely on what you have achieved.”
In the end, the graduating contingents performed a live fire tactical drill.
