Graduation Ceremony of Recruits with Extended-Services and Airborne Instructor Course
A ceremony was held this morning at the Airborne Regiment Command in Ghosta for the graduation of recruits with extended services and of an Airborne Instructor Course. The ceremony was headed by the Regiment Commander, representing the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, and was attended by a number of officers.
During the ceremony, Brigadier General Maroun Abou Halloun, Commander of the Regiment, delivered a speech in which he stated: “The graduation of a group of recruits with extended services, at this critical stage our country is going through, reaffirms that the spirit of patriotism is deeply rooted in our youth, and that the institution remains a source of trust and hope for the Lebanese people. As for the graduation of the Airborne Instructor Course, it underscores the path of development and advanced training adopted by the Army within its special units, in order to carry out difficult missions with the highest levels of precision.”
The ceremony concluded with a military parade featuring the graduating personnel.
