Handover ceremony of a donation from the Egyptian armed forces

Within the framework of the aid that the LAF receives from friendly countries and armies, a ceremony was held this morning in Beirut port to receive 305 tons of food aid, as a donation from the Egyptian armed forces to LAF. The ceremony was held in the presence of the chargé d’affaires of the Egyptian Embassy in Lebanon, Mr. Tamer Hammad, Major General P.S.C Elias Shamiyeh, representing the LAF Commander, General Joseph Aoun. It was also attended by Chief of Staff of the Appointments Department in the Egyptian Armed Forces, Brigadier General - War Staff - Mohamed Salah El-Din Zeidan, and the Egyptian Military Attaché, Brigadier General Salah Junaidi, along with a number of Lebanese and Egyptian officers.
