Handover ceremony of a donation offered by the British authorities for the Lebanese army

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A ceremony was held in the Logistic Brigade to receive equipment, including replacement parts for Land Rover vehicles, as part of a donation provided by the British authorities to the Lebanese Army.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chief of Staff for Equipment, Brigadier General P.S.C. Pilot Ziad Heikal, representing the Lebanese Army Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun, the British Ambassador to Lebanon Dr Lan Collard accompanied by the military attache Lt Col Lee Saunders, along with a number of officers.

In the end, General Haykal read a letter of gratitude in the name of the Army Commander in Chief and handed it to the British Ambassador in Lebanon.
