The Handover Ceremony Of equipment Offered By The US Authorities in Menieh with the presence of the Armed Forces Commander

The handover ceremony of equipment for an Ambulance for the municipality of Menieh – Tripoli offered by the CIMIC unit in the US Embassy in Lebanon, was held this morning in the mentioned town. The ceremony was attended by the chargé d’affaires of the CIMIC directorate, Brigadier General P.S.C Elie Abi Rached representing the LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun, as well as representatives from the CIMIC unit in the US embassy and the head of Menieh municipality Mr. Zafer Zrayka, in addition to several officers and figures.

Brigadier General P.S.C Abi Rached delivered a speech in which he said: we regard the US initiatives as a pertinent proof of the commitment of the USA to ts friendship with Lebanon and to supporting the LAF in the face of different challenges.”  The head of Menieh municipality also expressed his appreciation to the army command and the CIMIC directorate in the US embassy for offering this donation.

In the end, the exchange of shields took place and a cocktail reception was held on the occasion.
