The handover ceremony of vehicles offered a s donation from the Canadian authorities to the LAF at the Ski School – Cedars

The handover ceremony of 32 Ski-Doo vehicles offered as a gift from the Canadian authorities to the LAF was held at the Ski School – Cedars. The ceremony was attended by Vice Chief of Staff for Equipment Brigadier General P.S.C Miled Isaac representing the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun and Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon Ms. Emmanuelle Lamoureux. Ms. Lamoureux delivered a speech on the occasion in which she highlighted the importance of the partnership between both countries. Ms. Lamoureux also expressed her country’s commitment to continue offering military aid to the LAF. Moreover, Brigadier General Isaac delivered a speech in which he expressed his appreciation to the Canadian authorities for their constant support of the LAF. Brigadier General Isaac also stated that this aid will have a positive impact on the performance of the Ski School, thus increasing its capability to perform missions that are assigned to it in difficult climate conditions.
In the end, Brigadier General Isaac delivered an appreciation letter on behalf of the Armed Forces Commander, delivered it to the Canadian Ambassador, and offered her the army commemorative shield as a token of appreciation for the efforts of the Canadian authorities in supporting the LAF.
