Inauguration Ceremony of a Fully Equipped Food Supply Facility Donated by the German Authorities to the Army at the Beirut Naval Base

An inauguration ceremony was held at the Beirut Naval Base for a fully equipped food supply facility donated by the German authorities to the Lebanese Army. The event was attended by the German Deputy Ambassador to Lebanon, Yasmin Raya, and the Deputy Chief of Staff for Equipment, representing Army Commander General Rodolph Haykal, in addition to a number of officers.

During the ceremony, Brigadier General Amin Al Qaai, Deputy Chief of Staff for Equipment, read a letter of thanks on behalf of General Haykal and presented it to Ms. Raya, praising Germany’s role and its continued support for the army. He also noted that this project would strengthen the logistical capabilities of the military institution.
